Cute, sexy, sweet and funny

The latest TED talks are now available. And as usual, they are terrific. Here’s one of them (Youtube link) that talks about evolution of our most basic feelings. The speaker is Dan Dennett, a proponent of Evolution. He effectively trashes supporters of creationist theories with simple examples.  You can also download the videos in mp4 format.

This is of course one of the many great talks. Another one that I liked was ‘The importance of play’ by Stuart Brown, a researcher and professor at Stanford.

The videos are self explanatory, so I won’t dwell too much into what they are all about. Watch and enjoy.

I am a big fan of TED talks! Look out for Bonnie Bassler’s talk on quorum sensing in bacteria (sounds boring, but it’s not). It should be posted in the near future…
