You know the year is coming to an end when news channels start asking your votes for the Indian of the year. For Internet freaks like me (and, possibly, you) it’s that do the reminding. As 2008 draws to a close, websites around the web are busy repackaging their content to publish their ‘lists for the year’. The damn lists are everywhere. I thought the only way of getting them out of mind is to post them here.
So, here goes:
First the books…
Business Pundit‘s top 10 business books of 2008
New York Time‘s top 10 books of the year
then the websites
and the movies
a few more
Top 10 business debacles of 2008
Top 10 ethics scandals of 2008
Economists‘s Swimming naked awards 2008 (more than 10, but very interesting)
‘Top’ top 10s (that’s right)
Time magazine’s top top 10s of 2008
Lifehacker‘s most popular top 10s of 2008
That’s it for the weekend. Have a good one ahead, before 2008 says bye bye.
Update: Wired.com’s Top 10 gadgets of 2008. Guess what, the Nikon D90 is at #2. Not that it makes me feel any better.
