When greed takes over

An American woman, Janella Spears, has come out in the open with her story about how she got conned by Nigerian scamsters into transferring US$ 400,000 to them over a period of two years. Mrs Spears is a registered nurse, teaches CPR, is a reverend who has got many couples married and can speak sign language. But before you feel any sympathy for the lady, read this from the article:

Everyone she knew, including law enforcement officials, her family and bank officials, told her to stop, that it was all a scam. She persisted.

When greed takes over, reason abandons you. Apparently, she went public to warn people and help them learn from her experience. Well, thank you, but not even a school kid would have believed one those scam mails. And for two years?

Oh my god, this is horrible. Yes older people, whatever their intention, are more vulnerable to such scams. I know of one whom I had stopped in time and hence she thankfully didnt correspond with these people.

Hmpf!! Know what..I had once replied to one of those mails, just out of curiosity. It was fun, asking them all sorts of ridiculous questions. Trust me, they have some of the best customer service execs 🙂 Had to give up once they started asking for my bank account details 😀

LOL 😆 She completely deserves what she got. Even I occasionally get such emails, mostly from a lady who has supposedly has a huge inheritance coming her way, and needs my help because some other moron is supposedly cheating her of that inheritance.

Maybe I should reply to one of those emails like Harsha did. It will be good fun 😈

She is stupid and deserves to be conned.
