Today was the last public holiday I’ll have till August 15, 2008. No holidays for four months straight! Not to mention the summer of Hyderabad. It has been raining and Sun God has had to hide behind the clouds, while we enjoyed his absence. He will take his revenge, I am sure. Imagine having to go to work when the sun is beating down at an average of 40 degrees per day. It’s a punishment for no crime.
I registered my protest by not taking a bath. Yes, it was a festival and a bath is a must, but I do not give a darn.
Song that gives relief at this grim hour:
Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Take me home (Oh, won’t you please take me home) – Paradise City by Guns n’ Roses

You are just punishing those who live with you.
April ke baad August aata toh kitna accha hotaa
*scampers off coz of the bad odour*
Good point. There is Sriramanavami next week, but we don’t have a holiday. Kevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv!
Usually we should have more holidays in summer. But, it is different all together in our case
Thankfully we spend most part of the day in central A.C. But yes times are difficult without it.
