I feel rather lonely today. It happens every now and then. But i decided to blog about it this time. Even as I write this, Roy Orbison chants away ‘Only the lonely’.
Been a busy day. Which is rather unusual. Gave me mild headache. Which is scary, especially after what happened to the Japanese dude.
So what’s up? Looks like Gary anna has agreed to coach our cricket team. Here’s wishing the best of luck to him. He needs all of it and a bit more. Not to handle the team, silly. It’s the BCCI who he should be careful about. They have the capability to make him permanently bald. Saw him in an interview y’day and the bloke looked confused already.
Switched to a more cheerful music now. It’s U2 playing Elevation. Nice song. High, higher than the sun, shoot me from a gun…hmm feels good.
Elsewhere in Gujjuland, Modi had this to say:
It was vintage Modi in his campaign speech at Mangrol: “Sonia Gandhi spoke of terrorism. But she has no right to talk of this. Till today, those who attacked Parliament haven’t been sent to the gallows. Congress in Gujarat is raising its voice on the Sohrabuddin issue. But, it should explain to the people what should be done to a man who stored illegal arms and ammunition. You tell me, what should have been done to Sohrabuddin?”
The rally echoed with shouts of “Kill him, kill him.” Modi responded with: “Well, that is it. Do I have to take Sonia Gandhi’s permission to do this?”
I wish someone got up from the crowd and shot him in between his eyes. The dude seems real insecure about his gaddi. Relieve him of his worries, will someone?
Song change: The Sweetest thing, U2.
Some where else, Vinay is all cheered up as Cheeru the megastar is all set to join the megarats race of AP politics. Nothing will change.
Old men who have nothing else to do will not change anything. For things to change, we need more incidents like this to happen.
A group of local women from Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, harassed by a local goon, joined hands to thrash him up before handing him over to Pachpaoli police station on Tuesday morning. Accused Pramod Karwade’s wife Sheila, who joined hands with the local women group to punish her husband, too was the victim of harassment.
Had it been a movie, chiru anna would have thrashed the crap out of the goon and topped it with a social message-filled speech for the all the men who stood and watched the fun. But in real life? No way.
Now playing: Sweet Home Alabama, by Lynard Skynard. If this song were to be copied by a Tollywood music director, I guess it’d be called, Sweetu Homu Alladi Bomma. Don’t as me what those last two words mean.
Darn! It’s 11.45 already. Gotta get back to work on time. So sleep is essential.
Last song of the night: Kya hua jo lari chuti, by the Call. Karlo jo bhi karna hai. Hota hai jo hona hai. Right said.
Gunnait.
