The Sreesanth Nightmares

“Sreesanth, India’s fast bowler, has denied clapping in the face of Andrew Symonds after he was dismissed in the fourth one-day match on Monday. Sreesanth, a 12th man in Chandigarh, reportedly had to be calmed down by Stuart Clark, who was also running the drinks, when Symonds was approached between the field and the entry to the dressing room.”
If there’s any player after Sachin Tendulkar who could give nightmares–albeit of a different kind–to Australian Cricketers it’s Sreesanth. But Aussies are surely not his first victims. The list includes:
- Selector Dilip Vegsarkar
- Captain MS Dhoni and his deputy, Yuvraj Singh
- Ex-captain Dravid*
- A majority of Indian Cricket Fans
And the next addition to this list could well be Mallu superstar Mamooty.
Why Mamooty, you may ask. The explanation is quite simple, here it is. Imagine the kind of havoc Sreesanth could create on the movie sets, where his creative skills will be in full flow.
*I am now quite certain that Sreesanth’s antics went a long way in forcing Dravid to resign

BTW, I was just kidding when I said Sreesanth is one of the reasons. But then again, there’s no proof to prove me wrong you know.
It was proved by a TV channel, and the body language of Vengsarkar shows it all, Dravid wanted Sehwag in place of Uttapa in the side for England, in the end Uttapa won the match, so Dravid was proved wrong, also lots of other players Dravid supported were not in the team and the ones given to him, he didnt want, same probs with all the captains of Inda, no one gets the team they want, selectors just earn a handsome amt of money, they dont bother for the game
What you say might very well be true. But if I remember right, Dravid wanted to resign after the World Cup itself. What kept him going? And not having your way just once cannot be a good enough reason to resign. There’s more to Dravid’s resignation than meets the eye.

I doubt whether he is going to go the Kambli’s way because Sreesanth’s family background is much better than Kambli’s.
Another, thing is that I have a haunch, he is deliberately doing it to put the Aussies of the boil.
Btw, look at the way Dhoni has handled Sreesanth. He hasn’t taken him to task in public or even admonished him in his interviews. He just keeps brushing it off as aggression.
Is Sreesanth’s antics having full backing of Dhoni? Hmmm…
I think Dhoni knows that Sreesanth is a valuable player for the team and is hence not taking his behaviour seriously….once this aggression dies down, Sreesanth could be a better bowler.
